If you want to go up to $1.99, there are a couple real value buys with Omnibi of series that are departing Dark Horse. I’ll vouch for the excellent material in Conan Omnibus Volume 1: Birth of a Legend. It’s listed as 472 pages of barbarian goodness from Kurt Busiek, Cary Nord and Tom Yeates. You’ve also got Buffy the Vampire Slayer Omnibus Season 8 Volume 1, which is listed at 592 pages. Subsequent volumes in each series are currently listed at $14.99, so that’s what kind of a deep discount you’re looking at here.
$1.99 will also get you IDW’s Half Past Danger collection, a pulp tale of Nazi’s and dinosaurs in the South Pacific. Sons of Anarchy: Redwood Original Volume 1 is also $1.99 (subsequent volumes on sale for $3.99) and is BOOM!’s authorized prequel to the biker gang TV show.
Over at Image, $1.99 will get you Bulletproof Coffin: The Thousand Yard Stare by David Hine and Shaky Kane.
Moving up the price scale, $3.03 (do not ask me how that price was arrived at) will score you a couple volumes from Titan: Tank Girl, Two Girls One Tank and Doctor Who Tenth Doctor Archives Vol. 1.
