It’s the weekend, so let’s have a look at some of the digital comics sales currently going on.

The big DC sale is still in effect through Monday.  While we had less obvious choices in the preceding link, a lot of people seem to be happy to pick up Rebirth era Batman for $5.99/volume.  I’m not as over the moon with the Tom King run on Batman as most people are, so I’d say do your sampling with I am Suicide or, better yet, War of Jokes and Riddles.  I’ve found that run a bit uneven from arc to arc.  I’ve found the Rebirth era Detective Comics (or as I call it, “Batman Family”) to be more even from arc to arc, even if War of Jokes and Riddles was the high point for me.  Pick the one that best suits your tastes

And by all means, dig through that DC sale.  There are a few hundred options on sale.

Marvel has some Spidey on sale.  Of possible note: the 600+ page Spider-Verse collection, Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 1  Vol. 2, plus the two Peter Parker/Miles Morales crossovers, Spider-Men and Spider-Men II(Those last two are $2.99 each, so get the digital tpb for less than the price of a new issue.)

IDW has a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sale.  When it comes to TMNT, I generally say to go back to the Eastman & Laird originals.  Here’s, the current IDW run, which is one of the better selling independent comics to this day.  I also suspect some people may be interested in the Batman / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures (the crossover of the animated versions of the characters).
