With SDCC right around the corner, expect the Aquaman film to have a major presence at the convention with the bevy of Aquaman related Exclusives.
Last month, Entertainment Weekly unveiled some set photos including a first look at villain Black Manta played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen and his helmet. If you dug just a glimpse of Manta’s armor, wait until you see the entire thing.
Last night, DC Collectibles posted videos showcasing upcoming statues from Aquaman movie, giving us a better look of Manta in full armor. It’s a thing of beauty. Moreover, fans of the old school orange tunic will be happy to see actor Jason Momoa sporting the character’s classic traditional colors and look from the comics, giving some much needed brightness to the DCEU. And if the Mera statue is any indication, we can look forward to seeing actress Amber Heard command the waters in the role.
