Dark Horse PR manager Aub Driver is having his last day today, we understand. He’ll be joining Digital Trends as PR Director. No replacement announced yet.
While searching for a picture of Aub, we found the announcement of his hire back in 2011. Since then he’s dispensed interviews, review copies, good cheer and friendship at countless industry confabs. He was also a living, breathing connection to the Metal Years, years which are still very much with us as distant as they sometimes seem. In short: we’re not just losing a PR contact, we’re losing a pal. Luckily he’s moving to NYC (I guess those tech jobs pay enough to afford a NYC apartment) so he’d better not be a stranger.
