  1. My grade school aged daughter was fortunate enough to hear Cece Bell talk simply because it was on at the same time I was listening to Eleanor Davis’ much more adult presentation at the DBF. She didn’t have to try hard to talk her mom into getting the book (Mom was impressed too) and she devoured it.

Always happy to see the kids find good comics to love. To see those books getting recognition is icing on the cake.
