Cats, coffee, crockpots: what do cartoonists do all day?

Last week it was Hourly Comic Day (technically February 1, but it kind of stretches out for a few days) in which cartoonists attempt to draw hourly comics. Many of these end up being classic “I got p and brushed my teeth” comics, but there’s all kinds of content. Rather than link, I’ll just direct you to Zainab Akhtar’s Hourly comics day 2017 post (Yay Zainab is back!) and you can check out the best of the lot. Spoiler, much of it involves day jobs, leg pain, protests and other quotidian stuff. But so many are charming and lively as well. Above illo by
