This morning saw British convention season kick into high gear once more, with the announcement that Thought Bubble 2014 will be held from the 9-16th November this year, with the convention held on the weekend of the 15th and 16th. Amongt the first guests announced are Natasha Allegri, Danielle Corsetto, Jeff Lemire, Scott Snyder and Becky Cloonan.
Every year the team at Thought Bubble commission artwork from some of their star attendees and put it all up for auction to benefit Bernados, and this year the auction features pieces from Fiona Staples, Declan Shalvey, Annie Wu, Meredith Gran and Ming Doyle.
For the past few years, 2000AD have held a talent competition at Thought Bubble, with the winner getting the opportunity to illustrate a story for publication in the prog itself.
