Although best known as a rising star on the New York drag scene, Sasha Velour is also a graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies, an illustrator, art director of Velour: The Drag Magazine, and now, a contestant on season 9 of RuPaul’s Drag Race:
Sasha also hosted the Ignatz Awards a few years back, and did a bang up job as we recall.
The competition on Season 9 looks fierce in all senses of the word, but we’ll be rooting for Sasha all the way.
