Artist Dennis Calero is known for tons and tons of comics, from Marvel Noir to Cowboys and Aliens to currently, The Normals for AfterShock and, coming this fall, an adaptation of Casino Royale.
He’s also a filmmaker, with The Mouse, above the first short he’s released on Vimeo. It’s a slightly sentimental tale about a little girl, her dad and a mouse.
Calero tells me he’s already working on his next short.
Ahh…..the power of youth and optimism. I also enjoyed the background music, it is an excellent complement to the story.
