In case you missed it, Black Panther: World of Wakanda won this year’s GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding comic book.
The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community and the issues that affect their lives.
World of Wakanda was notable for bringing New York Times bestselling author and essayist Roxane Gay and award-winning poet Yona Harvey into comics. Now it has an award, too.
