We’ll be away again this weekend at the Baltimore Comic-con, an old fashioned comics type get together that is always fun. While the show is certainly not indie UN-friendly, we’d say the focus is more on mainstream comics. That’s why we’re intrigued by the announcement of the WebComics Hotness Pavillion; it will be interesting to see how these comics go over at a traditional comic con.

On September 9th & 10th, 2006, at Baltimore ComicCon, get ready to feel the heat of the Hotness in the WebComic Hotness Pavillion.

The Webcomic Hotness was created as a way for webcomic creators to share the work of their peers and have a centralized location for people to find their favorite webcomics. With a website created by fellow ‘Hottie’ Christi
Johnson, you can join in the fun of what could possibly be the biggest party at the convention.

A dozen creators will be sitting side-by-side at the Baltimore ComicCon to promote the Hotness that is WebComics. So if you are a webcomic enthusiast, or are wondering what all the fuss is about, Baltimore will have your one stop shop for a perfect sampling of creators.

WebComics are the fastest growing area of comics, so come and feel the Hotness.

The Webcomic Hotness for Baltimore 06 will be featuring:
JENNIE BREEDEN – THE DEVIL’S PANTIES
GREG CARTER – ABANDON
DANIELLE CORSETTO – GIRLS WITH SLINGSHOTS
BILL ELLIS – SILVER RAGE
GARTH GRAHAM – COMEDITY
JAMES HATTON – IN HIS LIKENESS

  1. Marc puts on a great show, and the last time I talked to him he seemed more than happy to help out the wecomickers from the Hotness.
Also, DearPirate.com is a late addition to the Hotness, and will be there in a more official membership at later conventions. For now, though, Dernwerks Comics will be right next to the Hotness for Baltimore. Four more days!
