The book, which will debut with a new #1 in January, will tell new stories in the world of the celebrated crime noir comic.
The trio’s new mini-series is coming this January from Image/Top Cow.
The story will be a superhero take on Charles Dickens’ classic novel, OLIVER TWIST.
The series, which will be published under the DC Black Label imprint, ‘will look at notable events from DC Universe history through a different perspective.’
The comic is set to relaunch in January 2019 with a new #1 issue from Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw.

A signing tour and other activities are in the works to mark Goon’s 20th anniversary next year.
Cates will also write the screenplay for this generational epic about aging relatives and inter-dimensional swordplay.
