With Aspen Comics news of a shared universe among some of its flagship titles; the publisher today revealed David Wohl’s Santeria: The Goddess Kiss would be returning in January with issue three. The book, about an EMT in Spanish Harlem whose life is altered when an ancient supernatural power is unleashed, has been delayed since debuting earlier this year in favor of focusing on the company’s crossover Revelations.

Before the delay, Aspen Comics had announced a talent search open to everyone with the prize being the winners artwork published as a cover to Santeria issue four which is now slated for February. Today, Aspen released a look at the winners of the contest. Selected from a field of over 100 submissions from representations of various races and female artists, the winners were decided on by series writer David Wohl, Aspen President Frank Mastromauro, Editor-in-Chief Vince Hernandez, and assistant editor Gabe Carrasco.
