DC Nation – Aardman
Okay this might just be the coolest comics-related promo of the year. Aardman Films, the claymation studio behind Wallace and Gromit, has made a promo piece for the DC Nation cartoon block debuting on the Cartoon Network later this year. It takes a conceit first used on their breakthrough film, CREATURE COMFORTS, in which animated zoo-goers comment on what the zoo animals might be thinking. In this case, they take kids voicing various DC superheroes. The result is charming and fresh. If DC Nation has anything this good, we’re in for a treat.
No video. I just get an error message: “An error occured: $ is not defined at undefined line undefined”.
I think it’s saying something profound about money.
That was awesome.
Not my cuppa.
This is terrific. What is it about little English children’s voices that is so charming?
Totally MY cuppa. Aardman ROCKS. MORE! MORE MORE MORE!

That was cute. I love Aardman’s claymation stuff. The cartoon channel up here in Canada was a CGI show done by them, and it was awful. I’m glad they’ve gone back to the claymation stuff.
I’m holding out for the Doom Patrol shorts. Also the Teen Titans will be back in a series of shorts That I’m eagerly awaiting.
