I just received my copy of the new Palookaville with the finale of Seth’s Clyde Fans – a saga of mid century decay that does much to explain the current malaise of the while male middle class. I give its arrival the “Pants Peeing Excitement” Badge here from the Beat.
But Meanwhile, Seth has a smaller story up on the Globe and Mail, part of a series of stories celebrating Canad’as 150th anniversary. The story involves Hurricane Hazel an actual mid-century disaster that saw record flooding and evern a fatality or two.
It’s brief but each panel is like a woodcut of disaster.
