Presented weekly on Study Group (A site which all free comics enthusiasts should check out regularly) Kate Lacour’s The Disciple is mostly wordless, somewhat abstract and occasionally gross, often disturbing and yet still beautiful. New Orleans-based Lacour is best known for her fantasy anatomy illustrations such as Bodies and the truly gorgeous Vivisectionary, which also runs on Study Group and won a MOCCA . Lacour’s work is NOT for the squeamish! She was interviewed on Inkstuds and briefly on PW’s More to Come podcast.
