Margaret Atwood is one of the great literary figures of our times, as the award-winning author of The Handmaid’s Tale, The Penelopiad, Onyx and Crake, mixing science fiction, social commentary and huamnist themes.
She’s also a dabbling cartoonist, as these doodles from the road show.
And now she may just be joining the legions of fans of Sex Criminals, Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky’s story about a couple who use their power to stop time when they orgasm to rob banks. Perhaps Atwood could become an honorary member of the Valkyries, the organization of female comics shops employees.
