200608251031The Rocky statue, a timeless artwork that references man’s struggle for dignity, the triumph of the underdog, and beauty of the Everlast logo, has been struggling to find a place to be exhibited, having been kicked around Philadelphia by snooty anti-Stallone forces for years. Not arty enough for the PHiladelphia Museum of Art, they sniffed. Sha, right.

Now it seems, a home has been found. Cinematical has the whole run down, including imploded stadiums and civic squabbling.

  1. lol THAT is one old photo up there. Not only isn’t the Vet standing, but the Rocky statue isn’t at the Spectrum right now…instead being used in the current movie. There is even a steel sign there saying it’ll be back. I walk by there on the way to work every day.
