Although once known for combative rhetoric and an aggressive stance, McFarlane Toys CEO Todd McFarlane sounded a conciliatory note when asked about the return of Angela in the pages of ULTRON WAR #10. McFarlane once fought a bitter lawsuit over the ownership of Angela with Neil Gaiman, and perhaps the settlement included a non-disparagement clause? […]

Although we and many others have been touting this weekend’s WonderCon in Anaheim as the anti-Comic-Con — a SoCal show where you can just kick back and wander in and out and not worry about hassles—it’s popular enough to have sold out ahead of the actual show:
Following last week’s gridlock over signing up for tables at this year’s Small Press Expo, organizers have announced that they’ll be expanding the show floor to include the ENTIRE ballroom at the Marriott Bethesda North Hotel & Conference Center. But the bottom line is…there can not be too much AXE COP. You’ll recall that the webcomic is written by 5-year-old Malachi Nicolle and […]

s of people who were looking forward to my being there, that I won’t be at WonderCon after all. Some travel stuff and other factors made it unfeasible. I’m sad I won’t be seeing everyone, but not as sad that I won’t be complaining about the line at Starbucks every morning.
