Not crazy at all. I went out and bought the soundtrack before going and seeing the movie a 2nd time (this time taking a friend who had even less prior knowledge of the subject material than myself who also really enjoyed it). The whole soundtrack is fabulous, particularly this song and the “Black Sheep” track.

I even picked up Volume 1 of the book series last night at a Borders as I was needing something to do while killing time waiting for a table at a restaurant where I’m traveling this week.

Hopefully those involved can take pride in those small victories with the newer converts and realize that over time, this will swell into more people who are into the books/movie/music etc. and it will ultimately be viewed as an over time success as opposed to an overnight one.

Beck apparently wrote up to 20 songs for Sex Bob-Omb, many of which weren’t used in the movie. I really hope that Beck releases all this material as a stand alone album as the songs are just great.

I love this song.

I love this movie. It’s the most fun I’ve had seeing a movie (twice) that I’ve had in a long time, and the first thing I’ve seen that made me feel exactly how I felt having a band, teching for a band, being skinny and eating nothing but bread. . .it’s a wonderful movie.

And Sex Bob-Omb rocks! I wish they’d tour!
