You don't know how long I've waited for this. As a cartoonist doing funny animal superhero comics, Darkwing Duck was a major inspiration in my childhood. I was even considering this year of doing a fan comic of his return.

Well done, BOOM! Studios. Well done.

Holey moley! I am way more excited about this than I should be. Darkwing Duck was a formative influence in my youth --- both the TV version AND the one that appeared in Disney Adventures! Awesome, awesome, awesome.

YES!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully this will spin-off some more Darkwing tales. "Darkwing Duck: Year One" or something like that, perhaps? Maybe have a Darkwing, with other Disney heros, make a Justice League type team? Have the Rescue Rangers, Super Goof, Gizmoduck from DuckTales, etc.

OHHHHHHH! He could maybe cross dimensions and he could team up with the Incredibles or even bring back Condorman!!

Just don't create any new heroes...

I'm a way too excited about the return of Darkwing? Yes, yes I am.

Well... Darkwing is definitely in the Classic Disney Universe, so Boom! could do a big event! Darkwing, Ultraheroes, add Magica and Gyro, give Micky and Minnie some powers (or make them adventurers), Junior Woodchucks, Rescue Rangers... I think there's even been some crossovers with the Feature Animation universe... Three Pigs, Seven Dwarves, Scamp... I guess Kingdom Comics has the rights to the "realistic" properties, so Disney Showcase is no-go... Although some of those 60s/70s movies are connected...
