Just wanted to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone for the linkage and updating their bookmarks and sidebars. It is so appreciated. There were times that setting off on my own seemed like the dumbest idea on earth, but the support I’ve received has been incredibly encouraging.
Also, some people I should have thanked right off the bat:
• Huge thanks to Richard Starkings and JG Roshell at Comicraft for the amazing new logo. It is spiffy as hell, and they rock.
• Web designer Robert Chafino gave me a lot of advice and insight along the way that helped me immensely.
• Todd Allen also acted as a sounding board and adviser especially during some very down days. Check out his webcomic Division and Rush (with Scott Beiderstadt)!
•…there are a lot of other besties and fellow bloggers and writers who were indispensable. A lot of you know who you are, but special props to Laura Hudson, Rich Johnston, Brian Heater, and Douglas Wolk.
• OKAY that should wrap up a very weird week at the Beat. Back to normal, as long as the cable stays on!

No Heidi, WE thank YOU.
We love your site and the work you do, it’s a great and necessary service to the community. For me, it’s THE GO TO site over any of the other comic related site on the web today and it’s so good, I am literally checking your site for interesting updates, recommendations, etc multiple times a day — even on weekends!
Keep on Keepin’ on.
We would be LOST without you!
In these days of economic murkiness, we all admire folks with the courage and moxie it takes to strike out on their own. Go get ‘em, Heidi.
When did Todd change the name from “Division & Rush?”
While I have no interest in Gerard Butler’s antics or in the Lost TV show, I love your blog and check in every day.
I like the new design too, except… if you could only change the text color from middle gray to black so that those of us with vision problems can stop squinting, your site would be perfect.
We love you, Heidi!
Congrats to you Heidi! Nothing but warm wishes here!
Links already updated on my site.
Onwards and upwards!
