The Deputy Director (DD) of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF) assists the Executive Director and Board in the further development of the organization. DD is the office’s second in command, and fully responsible for all office and staff activities in the Executive Director’s absence. The DD reports to the Executive Director, and manages CBLDF’s merchant fundraising (merchandise premiums, conventions, web/mail order, Previews, membership). DD manages day to day office activities (staff and volunteer supervision), oversees day-to-day financial processes (cashier functions – entry of income, bill entry, prepare items for bookkeeper), supports the Executive Director in mission activities, and provides management, coordination, and generally upholds the infrastructure of this small non-profit.
