I saw the Guy Delisle book in French last weekend while in Caen. Looks wonderful. Loved the D&Q translations of his other books. Glad to hear it’s coming soon in English.

The Benjamin Button book seems to be an illustrated novel. No word balloons, lots of text blocks… A nice book, but a graphic novel?
The most interesting book, the one I’m plotzing about, is Sam’s Strip, by Mort Walker and Jerry Dumas, from Fantagraphics! Oh, and Harvey Pekar writing a history of the Middle East! And a cool 1940s style Batman picture book from Penguin! Howabout Alice In Wonderland from Disney by John Sciezca and Mary Blair! Popup books featuring The Spirit and MAD political humor! The Essential Dykes To Watch Out For! The Signiest Jewel by Marian Henley! And the usual cool stuff from the University Press Of Mississippi…
