Somehow this hasn't leaked out yet but a friend of mine who works on the show says that the producers are seriously considering not airing the final 2 episodes on network TV, but releasing them to movie theaters. This has gimmick written all over it and I have to wonder how feasible this is as theaters tend to have their films booked months in advance although I guess that cineplexes that show the new action film on 3 screens can spare one for LOST.
