The Emerald City ComiCon is not, strictly speaking, an indie comics show, but it takes place in Seattle, so it sorta is by default. Anyway, they have a new “Indy creator ad” by Jeffrey Brown, above.

I’ve been told that this is a great comic show to have a table at, if you’re an indy publisher. Due to some set backs, I won’t be attending this year, but plan to make this one of my key stops next year. Is anyone making plans to go for this year?
I’m trying to sneak in, though Artist’s Alley space and exhibitor space seem to be filled up already. It was a good show when I went there a couple years back.
This is the first time I’ve heard of it. Sounds like a great show; it’s hard to find a venue that isn’t over run with mainstream media. I’d love to go but it is unfortunately a little out of the way for me. Maybe next year.
