Brian Spence:"God, I hope so. He’s not just a nut about one religion, he’s a nut about three (Judaism, Christianity and Islam). I hope he’s coming back to reality, but I have my doubts."

Yes, God forbid someone reconciles (in his mind at least) the belief systems of the world's three major warring religions. The only proper position is complete disbelief, I suppose?

I don't see eye-to-eye with Dave on half of what he thinks, but I wouldn't brand him a nut. He certainly doesn't act like a fanatic. Judging from his very calm and reasonable demeanor during the "God vs Spirituality" panel at 2003's S.P.A.C.E, he can easily take down most of his critics without breaking a mental sweat.

"I'm a very light-hearted person these days"

God, I hope so. He's not just a nut about one religion, he's a nut about three
(Judaism, Christianity and Islam). I hope he's coming back to reality, but I have my doubts. Too bad. I miss the old days of early Cerebus.

A comic creator doing something in a new style, learning about the internet, having fun, and experimenting with promotion and distribution of his new product!
This is good thing!
