Then we wouldn't feel the need to pander to other mediums for support. If you truly feel a burning need to bring in best selling authors, ask yourself, "Why?" Is it to bring in more money? If you're a big comic company, that's completely understandable, but it does nothing for the art form. Is it for a wider audience? For the MOST PART, that's just an illusion. Take heart in what you love, my friends. It is a great thing that we do, even if we are not ourselves "big name authors." This last book, #7, is 1050 pages. I haven't read the comic mini series, but can't imaaaagine how anyone could condense a series of novels that must run at least 5,000 pages, into a 7 issue comic.
