Stanley's storyboards were SLIGHLTY rough, but all the poses, gestures, expressions were THERE and then Tripp them did a very commendable job inkin' 'em up. Please give Stanley ALL his due, it really bugs me to see this myth perpetuated again and again. Tripp was a nice inker but it was STANLEY that deserves ALL the credit for the “infinitely exprsessive stylings”. Stanley’s storyboards were SLIGHLTY rough, but all the poses, gestures, expressions were THERE and then Tripp them did a very commendable job inkin’ ‘em up. Check to see if there is an archive of minis or zines somewhere. (Do Wertham's papers include zines?) If none exists, then perhaps one can be created in your name. MAYBE even set up an Alexandrian depository where every exhibitor to conventions must deposit at least one copy of one title for posterity!
