Thanks Tim. That's very nice of you to say. As I am a person of no particular importance, I can bank on your sincerity. I'm sure you'll disagree with me someday, but I'll enjoy it with all the good cheer that comes with a new year. Here's to all of us having a good one. Cheers.

Christopher, while I never found myself disagreeing with you. Two things:
1. Thanks for expressing a sentiment that I think sometimes gets lost in the heat of Internet discourse.
2. When I first read your post and got to the part where you wrote "...am only sorry we can’t do it in person" I misread "person" as "prison". That was a fun misread on my part. :)

Heidi, thanks for providing a fine balance of wit and opinion in your industry coverage.

About that Marvel cover above, I just love that they opted to have Hulk play Santa. I would not want to be the puny human that tugged on Santa's beard. And ain't Dr. Strange show-boating a smidge? It's not like Nick Fury hopped in a S.H.I.E.L.D. Flying Car to handle ornaments on the upper branches...

I just wanted to wish everyone (and Heidi) a very merry Christmas. I've enjoyed spreading my insanity here, and all the lively debates I've had with many of you. Although some have been heated, I want everyone to know that I think no less of any of you, then I do myself and bare no one any ill will. On the contrary, I enjoy disagreeing on subjects and am only sorry we can't do it in person. So again, merry Christmas to each and every one of you (even Harlan Ellison who neglected to send me a Hanukkah card, but I still think is a good writer, no matter how we disagree in real life) and a very prosperous and happy new year. Much love.

"It is now my life’s mission to track down a copy of that Santa Claus Conquers the Martians adaptation."

I wish there was a comic adaptation of the MST version.
