Speaking of animated, Jerry Seinfeld’s Bee Movie led the weekend box office, giving headline writers an opportunity to throw around the words “buzz” and “sting” with complete impunity and prompting a Dreamworks spokesperson to proudly state “”Our bee has legs.” Good times.
Wow. This is a tough year. Ratatouille and Persepolis almost certainly have a lock on two of the spots, which means it’s a vicious battle for that third spot.
I would be supremely happy with this mix:
