Top Cow Productions is pleased to announce its plans for WizardWorld Chicago taking place on August 9th through August 12th. In addition to bringing along the joint convention exclusives which debuted at Comic-Con International: San Diego, Top Cow will bring a few new surprises.
Top Cow will debut a brand new convention exclusive variant at WizardWorld Chicago with the limited color edition of Ripclaw Pilot Season #1 by Tony Moore (Exterminators, The Walking Dead). Moore will also appear at the show and make signing appearances at the Top Cow Booth (#130) along with other superstars such as Wizard Top Ten Artist Mike Choi (X-23: Target X, Witchblade), Croatian painting sensation Stjepan Sejic (First Born, Witchblade), Wizard Top Ten Writer Mark Millar (Wanted, Civil War), and The Darkness ongoing writer Phil Hester (Green Arrow, Irredeemable Ant Man). Signing times will be posted on Top Cow’s official blog (blogspot.topcowblog.com) in the days leading up to the convention. Top Cow will be giving away a different free comic at their booth every day of the show.
Top Cow will also host two memorable panels during WizardWorld Chicago. The first will be the Top Cow Panel on Saturday at 3:30pm in the Marshall Rogers Room where the Cow promises a major announcement regarding this fall’s most fan interactive promotion, Pilot Season! Every attendee will receive an exclusive limited edition mini-lithograph. The second is the Wizard School with Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Filip Sablik as he discusses the ins and outs of marketing at 11am on Sunday. Additionally, FUNimation will be holding advance screenings of the first three episodes of Witchblade: The Anime during the convention on Friday & Saturday at 1pm and Sunday at 12:30 in the Anime Insider Room,

Top Cow will be a major hit than ever this year with their new stuff coming out and all the partnering that they are doing with such as being on mobile with Zannel and letting users dl free wallpapers and I saw them on myspace as well. This is definitely the year for Top Cow. They were awesome at Comic Con 07 and Seth Green was there so that was cool. I think RipClaw will be good but all time favorite is Witchblade so hands down folks! Great things with Top Cow this year and I can’t wait.
