§ Sexy Carla Gugino will play Sally Jupiter/Silk Spectre in WATCHMEN.
Gugino will play Sally Jupiter, a burlesque dancer-turned-costumed heroine and sex symbol the Silk Spectre who is part of the Minutemen, a group of heroes who preceded the Watchmen. She also is the mother of the new Silk Spectre (Akerman). Sources said Gugino will portray Jupiter in varying eras, playing different ages throughout the movie.
§ Apparently, Edward Norton really is writing the next HULK movie. Which explains the whole bit where the Hulk gets a tattoo and joins up with the Red Skull and then moves to a big warehouse to have sex with Helena Bonham Carter.

Best Watchmen news so far. Gugino is really an outstanding, versatile actress and it’ll be interesting to see her take on this character in various eras. Oh, and she’s not really hard to look at either.
I saw Gugino do a very excellent Marilyn Monroe-type character in Arthur Miller’s “After The Fall” on Broadway a couple of years ago. The play itself was not great, but she did an outstanding job. I bet you that has something to do with the casting. She can do the whole 40s-glamour-girl extremely well.
