Join us Friday, June 15th as Secret Headquarters presents the art of John Pham.
John Pham is a Xeric Foundation grant winner who is best known for his Manga meets Indy styled Epoxy comic book anthology. Epoxy has been featured in XLR8R and Publishers Weekly and was named “the Best Comic of 2003″ by THE FACE (U.K.).
Pham has not updated his web site since 2005 as he has been frantically working on his new comic book series entitled: Sublife. Secret Headquarters will have pre-release, limited edition, hand assembled copies.
John will be on hand from 8pm to 10pm. Beer it up and discuss the impact of the Xeric grant on independent comic book making in the United States of America.
Pham’s work will be on display thur July 15th.
