It's absolutely great that MOUSE GUARDS getting this love, but just to (sorta) nitpick, the Science Fiction Book Club has offered plenty of graphic novels over the years through its "Altiverse" section. It's just that not every publisher that sells them a book issues a press release, or sees that press release run.

As for the hardcover being available through the trade, Archaia is among the publishers listed as Diamond Book Distributors' clients
(http://www.diamondbookdistributors.com/clients.asp#Archaia_Studio_Press )
so one hopes that they'll be the ones getting it to the bookstores as well as comics stores. (Random House/Villard is only doing the paperback edition, and that won't be out until next year or so...)

I hope the hardcover is available to the trade. It's frustrating to order something via a bookstore, to try and get it on the sales reports, and thenhave to buy it from the direct market.
Villard and Random House will get it into stores, and that helps. I wonder what sort of publicity is planned?
