IGN has the first image of Iron Man’s FIRST suit and you know, we kind of like it. It’s got that Jack Kirby/Kevin O’Neill/Paul Guinan vibe to it.

I have to say that I’m happy they’re throwing this into the movie. I love the weird bulky early armor that looks like a 50’s robot.

Reminds me of the Cyberman redesign from the new Doctor Who series.

When Stan Winston appeared at the LA Shrine Show a few months ago – he was enarmored ( no pun intended….

…..well actually yes it is intended ) to say that this is the most incredible movie he’s ever worked on – even better than Jurrasic Park.

And I hate to admit it, folks – its shows.
