TOMY Corporation and D3Publisher of America, Inc. (D3PA) today announced that NARUTO™: Clash of Ninja 2 for Nintendo GameCube™ has qualified as a Player’s Choice title, which is reserved for the best-selling games available for the Nintendo GameCube. Based on VIZ Media’s hit anime series SHONEN JUMP™ NARUTO and first released in September 2006, NARUTO: Clash of Ninja 2 is now available at a new low price of $19.95 MSRP. According to the NPD Group, NARUTO: Clash of Ninja 2 has been in the top 5 best-selling Nintendo GameCube games by month five out of six months since its release.
“The NARUTO brand has been a hit in North America since the TV series first debuted in September of 2005 and with the momentum increasing, our expectation is that 2007 will be a banner year for NARUTO on Nintendo platforms,” said Laura Yoshioka, senior marketing manager, TOMY Corporation. “Not only will NARUTO: Ninja Council 3 be the first NARUTO game for the Nintendo DS™, but in the fall of 2007 TOMY and D3PA will be releasing the first ever NARUTO game for Nintendo’s Wii video game system – NARUTO: Clash of Ninja MVZ.”

The first naruto game was ok, but not a future classic. It sold as much as it did because, well, naruto is a good anime and manga.

Does anyone herelive in the U.S. and play Naruto Video Games like the Ultimate ninja series, rise of ninja, or clash of ninja? And also do you watch the Shippuden Episodes online? Because I was wondering if it was just me but it makes me mad when Im watching the Shippuden online but in the U.S. they are airing things like the sasuke retreival arc, and they just come out with that game that is in sync with the episodes, and im all the way in Shippuden watching everybody three years older and more Badass. Doesn’t someelse think that Japan should at least make the games Like Naruto Accel that would be compatible with U.S. playstations. Cause I know that there are millions of people who watch naruto online. Its not like they even have to do the American voice overs they can just leave the Japanese one and put subtitles or something. And Just sell them online through companies like game stop. idk maybe it just me, but they could make alot more money that way, and i would be happy. And if anyone else feels the same way I think it might be possible if there are enough people to help Namco Bandi aware of this.
