		<description>Great designs.  Personal faves include the McClaine and Priddy images.  The Rooftoppers often skew away from established costume design for their characters, so I think it&#039;s interesting how many of the reworks are still cleaving pretty closely to Kara Zor-El&#039;s patented DC look.  Suggests to me that this character is iconic for these creators in a way that others might not be.

That makes a degree of sense, perhaps.  The characetr tends to bomb with readers whenever her duds don&#039;t match the general Superfamily colors and design, e.g. the Seagle run of a few years ago, with a brunette, darkly-clad impostor Sgirl.  But maybe I&#039;m biased.  I thought Conner Kent&#039;s black tee and bluejeans ensemble was a mistake.</description>
