Man this is sad. This guy blew my mind when I was 15 , entertained the hell out of me at 30 and now I’m gonna have to dig out my Illuminatus trilogy and blow my mind again.
I will miss him immensely. He was a huge inspiration. And while the major news outlets are going on the hook that he was a SF writer, which he was, he was also so much, much more, to the extent that decades from now your kids and grandkids will be asking you about him.
