    Dear Frank Miller,

    Twenty years ago I wrote you regarding a page from the âDark Knight Returnsâ?.
I was struck by the image of the Batman holding the body of a suicidal general whose body was draped in the American flag. I assumed this was shorthand for those who thought they could do anything if they wrapped themselves in the flag.
    I have reasonable doubts regarding the genesis of 9/11. Was it the Romans who said if you would know who committed a crime then look to see who benefits from it most?
Or did I read that in some comic book.
     Anyways, be careful who you hang with.
