I’ve seen the English dub, and…I like it! I don’t know why, but I do – the drawing is so warped it makes my eyes hurt after a while, and there’s loads of scatological humor, but somehow it’s still funny. Shin Chan is like Calvin and Hobbes on acid…I love Shin-Chan’s mom!

In America,,, The american version,,, Love, Love, Love the show. Fricken funny as can be. Shin chan is a big winner here. Cant wait to see more.

i remember when shin chan first came out i wasnt allowed to even see it it was aroudn the time when bevis and butthead first came out and iw asnt allowed to watch any of it either.thats how my parents werer as with all children. anyway im adult teen(17) so no i can check it out wel it ws great and i watch it every chance i get (to make up for all those lost times ) lol anyway its great and i will continue watching itand looking forward to futre airings!!!

I used to watch Shin-Chan on an Asian channel in Hawaii. It was oddly compelling, but not great, as I recall. I remember being surprised at how I found the manga to be so funny, compared to the anime. It’s worth watching if you’re a fan of the manga, but not great.

I don’t know about elsewhere, but here in South East Asia, ShinChan is not really popular anymore.
It used to be everywhere at one point.
